CHLOE ZOLA | WARNING: THIS FOOD MAY ORBISCULATE FOR READER’S DIGEST

WARNING: This food may orbisculate! Anyone know what orbisculate means?  It’s a made up word for food that spritz’s in your face when you eat it (a la citrus fruits). #lcmartist Chloe Zola got to illustrate this fun article for Reader’s Digest. Neil Krieger invented the word orbisculate in college to describe when a citrus fruit squirts in your eye. He then proceeded to use the word with his family, so often that his children were shocked to discover it wasn’t in the dictionary. Unfortunately Krieger died of covid this year and his family is trying to honor him by getting the word (which is awesome, don’t you think?) made official and into the English language dictionary.
