DAVID JUNKIN got to create another powerful illustration for a very serious article for Local Matters for 7Days Vermont‘s Independant Voice that examines the access to guns in Vermont in relation to a recent suicide. A successful business woman in her 40’s who wasn’t exhibiting any outward signs of depression (from the gun store owner’s perspective) was able to purchase a firearm and then subsequently shoot herself a few days later. This is on the heels of other gun-related suicides. “What Stops A Suicidal Vermonter From Buying A Gun? Not Much.”
