GONCALO VIANA with a great new portrait for Público. This is a portrait of Alvaro Cunhal, commissioned for an article on the 100-year anniversary of his birth. Alvaro Cunhal was a communist party leader here in Portugal, quite influential in the 70’s after the revolution. Love how this portrait turned out.
