This year Vista Alegre invited #lcmartist artist Gonçalo Viana to create an illustration to decorate its storefronts during the holiday season. In each store you’ll find an advent calendar revealing, each day, a new piece of tableware. To decorate it and following the theme he had already set when doing the illustrations for this year’s Gift catalog and the 200 Years of Stories book, where he tried to meld each idea and concept with one of their porcelain pieces, he thought of illustrating the characters from the Nutcracker ballet, the nutcracker toy soldier and the ballerina, following the same logic.
