Here’s a wonderful piece by #lcmartist Irene Servillo for the first issue of Offtrack, Magazine, an independent Paris magazine. This was for an article called “I Hate Travel.” The story is a tribute to the book Tristes Tropiques (Sad Tropics) by Claude Levi Strauss, a critique on the clichés of travel that romanticized explorations, the magic of landscapes, and the emotions manufactured for the occasion.
