Levy Creative Management artist KAKO is participating in two exhibitions in April, one in Sao Paulo and one in Bogota! See below for details and if you are in the area, definitely check them out!

Exhibitions in Sao Paulo and Bogota
This month I’ve been invited to be part of a couple of exhibitions in Sao Paulo and in Bogota. So if you happen to be here or there and have a time to spare, please check them out.

Galeria Deco celebrates their 30th anniversary with two simultaneous exhibitions Encontros: Tomie Ohtake&Nobuo Mitsunashi and Olhares Oblíquos. The first shows the latest paintings of Japanese-Brazilian artist Tomie Ohtake and an exclusive installation of Japanese artist Nobuo Mitsunashi, both masters of their trades. The gallery’s second floor is occupied by Olhares Oblíquos exhibition, showing works that offer a contextualization of the contemporary production amongst Brazilian and Japanese artists. Along with my three pieces you’ll be able to see the works of Albano Afonso, Adrianne Gallinari, Cris Bierrenbach, Felipe Barbosa, Futoshi Yoshizawa, Lia Chaia, Roberto Okinaka, Takashi Fukushima, Rosana Ricalde, Mazu and Sandra Cinto.

This year, Brazil is the guest of honor at the 25° Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá and one of the highlights is the fig.o2 Congreso Interncional de Ilustración, which not only organized an amazing series of lectures and workshops, but also the Impredecible Gráfica Brasileña exhibition, showing a portrait of the Brazilian contemporary illustration scene. I confess that I could not be in better company: Renato Alarcão, Alê Abreu, João Pinheiro, Zé Otávio, Mauricio Negro, Samuel Casal, Carlos Araújo, Léo Gibran, Fábio Zimbres, Guilherme Kramer e Weberson Santiago.
