MICHAEL BYERS was in a group show this past weekend in Toronto that the talented Julia Breckenreid and Steve Wilson hosted. They round up a boat load of talented artists for an exhibition with the theme “The Green Man.” It is said about the Green Man… “He is the personification of the spirit of nature itself in its vegetation form; the living heartbeat in every cell of a plant, shrub or tree, and the divine essence of the seasons.” Mike had a lot of fun creating this piece and was honored to be a part of such a talented group of artists. His take on it was just what it might be like if suddenly some space explorers found such a totem on another planet or maybe there wasn’t any vegetation left on earth and this is the greatest discovery in decades. What does it all mean?
