A huge congrats goes out to MICHAEL BYERS for his School Library Journal “Fan Fiction” illustration being accepted into the Society of Illustrators Annual Exhibition: Illustrators 57 show. Thank you to all the wonderful judges, and to Mark Tuckman for commissioning this great piece — we are very grateful and honored to be in the show this year with this fabulous piece below. It was originally commissioned for an article on Fan fiction and how the intriguing subculture of teens share original fiction that is based upon the characters and worlds in existing popular literature.
