I’ve been waiting to post this piece by MICHAEL BYERS for Hawaii Home+Remodeling for their Green Edition insert. It’s definitely one of my favorites & so different from so much that Mike has done recently. As Mike pointed out, it’s always fun to work with Hawaii magazines. A fun part of getting emails from the art directors is the ‘Aloha’ and the ‘Mahalo’ when they sign off. Mike had a lot of fun working on this piece. The art director gave him lots of freedom and he thought to himself, he’d never really done any profile images, why not try it out…and there came this beautiful piece.
