Another outstanding piece by MICHAEL BYERS! This one commissioned by Outdoor Life was called “Lucky Charms: Our Favorite Odds-Tippers and the Stories Behind Them.” It was a fun little piece that Mike got to illustrate the opener & some spots for as well which included some favorite lucky charms such as a hippie bracelet, the Buck Spell & a happy buddha to name a few of the things that hunters swear help them nab the big prize. The complexity in which this illo holds all the little tips and stories behind them is just incredible. I truly don’t know how Mike handles all this detail in such little time. Simply in awe! Thank you Sean & Pete for another wonderful assignment. I’m certainly not a hunter but would jump at the opportunity to be in this piece! 🙂
