Ever wonder how Chihuly sculptures are cleaned? Well Ryan Johnson and Indianapolis Monthly are here to tell you how the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis cleans its giant Dale Chihuly sculpture. The art called “Fireworks of Glass Tower & Ceiling” is as hard to clean as it was hard to create. Can you imagine cleaning 4,800 individual hand-blown glass pieces? Likely not but doesn’t matter as there is only one person authorized to clean it!
