I’m so happy to finally be able to pull this amazing art and incredible movement together for #lcmartist VIDHYA NAGARAJAN for Taskforce — creating “culture that changes culture, consolidating power and building momentum” all for INTO ACTION! This job that still continues was a herculean effort by Vidhya, with nearly 183 gifs in the books and more on the way, there were weeks during the election that Vidhya created 43 gifs in the course of a week on top of her other assignments. For those of you who haven’t been following @levycreative & @vidhyan, INTO ACTION is a movement of designers, illustrators, animators and artists building cultural momentum around civic engagement and the issues affecting our country and world, most recent and obvious our election, and lord knows there was much to talk about….but as the election unfolded and some-what ended Vidhya was able to work on other social & cultural issues in a powerful movement that enforced the intersection of arts, culture, and social change. I’m so proud of this body of work on so many levels but truly for the dedication that Vidhya gave to this incredible assignment and cause but also for the drive that she had behind working with these incredible companies knowing that her work was making a difference.
