Always great to share a new Sketch Pad for The New York Times! This time with #lcmartist Vidhya Nagarajan & Sarah Bahr for NY Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks with Gustavo Dudamel . Vidhya has been following Dudamel for the past year and was happy to get a chance to see him live! Vidhya & Sarah spoke to a crowd who braved a massive down pour just before the concert. Here is what they saw and heard. The headline lettering was inspired by a restaurant sign Vidhya saw in Paris a couple years ago that she’s been wanting to use for something. A serif, thought of as traditional, but this one funky and bubbly, just like Dudamel!
