This was a really fun project by VIDHYA NAGARAJAN for Barnard College – Columbia University for their Spring 2016 issue of Barnard Magazine. The map called “Harlem Semester” is just that…Harlem Semester: Capturing the spirit of the partner institutions with the professors and professionals who taught the classes. “The six institutions that have partnered with Barnard to create site-specific learning experiences for students are some of Harlem’s most revered arts and cultural organizations.” The program is pretty incredible as is the map Vidhya illustrated to go along with the feature. Definitely a fun assignment!
