VIDHYA NAGARAJAN | LUNA LUNA FORGOTTEN FANTASY FOR THE NEW YORK TIMES

February 18, 2025    Vidhya Nagarajan

This is hands down one of coolest exhibitions NYC has seen and we are thrilled that Vidhya Nagarajan got to experience and document the fun with her drawn journalism for The New York Times Sketchbook column. Luna Luna was the world’s first art amusement park (originating in Hamburg, Germany) with rides, games, and attractions by visionaries like Basquiat, Haring, Lichtenstein and Hockney. Lost since 1987, this is an incredible showcase of the world’s first amusement park that was sealed in 44 shipping containers and forgotten until now. The show runs until March so RUN to see it!
