#lcmartist Changyu Zou & Portland Mercury are learning how “Shaking the Tree Celebrates Spooky Season With Four Short Plays.” Shaking the Tree is a production company that has presented some of the boldest, strangest, and most unforgettable stage work that Portland has ever seen. “Caryl Churchill’s surreal, strange work is a perfect fit for the Portland theater.” The illustrations are inspired by Churchill’s one-act plays: Kill, Glass, Bluebeard’s Friends and Imp.
