We’re so excited to share that KAKO is featured in Taschen’s 100 ILLUSTRATORS book, created by Kako’s dear friend Julius Wiedemann and Steven Heller, based off the Illustration Now! series. Thank you Julius & Steve for letting Kako be part of the incredible book 100 ILLUSTRATORS that Huffington Post named one of the top 30 Art Books of 2013! Check out the link here. According to the description, the book has a “selection of today’s most successful and important illustrators from around the globe” and we are very honored that Kako is one of them together with great artists and friends.
Edited by Steven Heller and Julius Wiedemann, “100 Illustrators” is based off the Illustration Now! series, which profiles draftsmen across the world, exploring the career trajectories and oeuvres of illustration’s finest. For “100 Illustrators,” Heller narrowed a list of 600 possible artists included in the series over the years to a final roster of names like Mirko Ilić, Anita Kunz, and Christoph Niemann.
