The President’s Excellence Awards recognize Alberta Health Services staff, doctors and volunteers for their commitment to patient care & MICHAEL BYERS got the chance to illustrate their great recognition in Apple Magazine. The recognition comes for NODA (No One dies alone) where a volunteer always sits with a dying person for their last hours of life; Celebrating Life (Patient & Family-centered care; Quality Improvement (getting dialysis at home); and Service Excellence (goodbye sugary drinks.)
