Super excited to share that MICHAEL BYERS‘s “Leaving Loneliness” artwork is a finalist in the 2018-2019 Alberta Magazine Publishers Association Awards for best illustration. We’ll look forward to hearing more about the awards so stay tuned! Below are the post details from earlier in the year!
This is one of my favorite pieces that MICHAEL BYERS has done this year, it speaks volumes of it’s subject & is so beautifully illustrated. It was originally commissioned for Apple Magazine’s Keep In Mind Column for the Spring of 2018. Did you know that being with people could improve your health? Studies have shown that loneliness can be bad for your health. Studies have shown it can increase the risk for high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and even early death. And just note, loneliness can effect anyone, anytime and in any place. It’s most definitely time to come together.
