Here’s a lovely series of art by #lcmartist MICHAEL BYERS commissioned for the University of Waterloo 2019-2020 Report on Giving. Pleasantly focusing on stories of hope! In their Report on Giving, they share how vibrant humanity can happen during difficult times with “stories that begin with loss and uncertainty, and end with hope for our future” painting a portrait of community: a tight-knit network of students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends.
“The gift of sight” because Anne-Marie and Heinz Brune’s legacy gift will help fight devastating eye and brain diseases.
“She belongs in STEM” – A new scholarship supports five women every year, offering financial assistance and programming as they enter the technology sector.
