Excited to share this next beauty by #lcmartist Ryan Johnson for The Los Angeles Times ‘Between A Rock’ series. The article called “They visited Big Sur for romantic backpacking getaway. Then their plans went up in flames.” is about a woman who went on a weekend backpacking date in Big Sur with her then-romantic interest Gary. While they were backpacking up to a hot spring they saw a line of firefighters who told them to evacuate immediately. They relocated with a bunch of hikers to Pfeiffer beach, but were woken up in the middle of the night and told to evacuate again. The whole ordeal ultimately ended their fling, and taught them a thing or two about fires.
