RYAN JOHNSON got to illustrate a few stories for Virginia Quarterly Review for their fiction section. This piece is about an American woman living in Hong Kong who feels stuck and unhappy in her marriage. The story focuses on the woman who goes to Mong Kok to research goldfish for her blog, and how the are supposed to bring on good luck. She decided not to simply photograph them for her blog but to take one home to see if it would help her too. Check out the mag for more.
