What an exciting time for those who celebrate Diwali & Halloween as the two holidays overlap this year and even more fun that #lcmartist Vidhya Nagarajan got to illustrate this wonderful piece for The Washington Post. Some Desis will fuse the both holidays. Diwali is “The religious holiday celebrated by Hindus, Sikhs, and other religions from South Asia.” What fun to have the holiday coincide with the “European tradition” of Halloween.
