Excited to share this new cover art by #lcmartist Zé Otavio for Young Readers (Coleção Jovens Leitores) for Nova Fronteira Publishing, writers Carlos Heitor Cony. “Time and other times” is the latest and unprecedented collection of chronicles organized by Carlos Heitor Cony himself, who selected, among his countless writings, those that dealt more directly with the passage of time, the effective material of the chronicle, everyday life, but also the seasons, politics, authors from other times or their contemporaries. Privileged time, however, does not follow a straight line from past to present towards the future, as the author warns in the small opening note, “There is no logical or chronological order in the texts I chose, other than the title itself – dated and wasted time”. A book to read at the whim of time itself, “Timeless matter in its reach and lesson of things”, as defined by literary critic André Seffrin in his introduction to this edition.
