Happy to share this wonderful insta post on MICHAEL BYERS with Faber-Castell!

**FABER-CASTELL CANADIAN ARTIST SPOTLIGHT**

Hey Canada – meet the artist @michaelbyers !

“I’m an award winning Canadian illustrator living in Hamilton Ontario.
My illustrations have been featured in many publications such as Sports Illustrated, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Men’s Health, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, The Walrus, The National Post, The Globe and Mail to name a few.

I draw almost daily in my sketchbook and for years have used Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens. I recently have added the Polychromos coloured pencils to my toolbox to add some touches of color to my sketchbook work.

The Pitt Artist Pens the best liner I’ve used in years. I’ve tried many of the competitors fine liners. I find the Pitt Artist Pen has the best line quality. I love that the pigment is resistant to smudging when I apply wet material to my drawings. I’ve also noticed that the ink in the Faber Castell fine liners doesn’t bleed as much as other pens I’ve used in my sketchbooks.

Not to mention they’re perfect to carry around with a small notebook to make some quick sketches when I’m on the go.

I plan on using them for many years and quite enjoy all the Faber-Castell products I’ve used so far.

My daughter loves using the collapsible water dish that Faber-Castell makes whenever she’s painting.

All the images you see here were done with the Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pens size 3, Bullet nib 1.5mm and the Big Brush India ink pen, black.”
